It’s been a big year for St Albans hardcore/metalheads YOUR DEMISE. After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album IGNORANCE NEVER DIES and the recent departure of original vocalist, the band wasted no time and snapped up ED McRAE, formerly of Brighton metallers Centurion.

YOUR DEMISE GET TO WORK ON SECOND ALBUM!
Your Demise are currently holed up in California writing their second album, the follow up to 2009’s breakthrough album ‘Ignorance Never Dies’.
“It will still 100% be a Your Demise record” notes guitarist Stu Paice, “The sound is inevitably going to change and adapt because of what the band is personally listening to. Our own personal tastes have changed as everyone’s does, through touring – it’s our second album so there is a degree of pressure, but I think it’s only from a personal view of upping our game and to take it as far as we can.”
Your Demise head back to the UK in May 2010 to Outhouse Studios in Reading to record the as yet untitled second album.
Catch them live at the Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds at the end of May 2010.

YOUR DEMISE HELD AT GUNPOINT!
“As we headed our back into America from Canada, we decided to head to to Tim Hortons for the Last time before we entered the states. Shortly after leaving, everyone was full of bagels and coffee, Drifting of to sleep, our rest was interrupted by the sound of 3 Canadian Police Cars. Sirens blasting, we pulled over completely baffled as to why we where being stopped as we had done nothing wrong.
“So we stopped at the side of the free-way to the sound of, ‘Driver, get out of the car now’, at this point we had no clue what was going on. So danny gets out and they tell him to stick his hands up and turn around, walk toward the car, we then saw a Police man stick a Gun in Danny back and drag him to the car, Handcuff him and put him the back of the Police car. so we now mental stuff was going through our heads. Next they shouted for the passenger (Pumpjack) to get out, Same thing, GUN, HANDCUFFS, CAR BONNET!.
“We started to giggle nervously and heard, ‘All of you , Get out’, so we got out and we were told to put our hands in the air and get down on our knees, the whole time, we where held a Gunpoint by 2 Scumbags. So we get out in the freezing snow, on the ground and the cop starts to search the van, i mean it was like 24 Jack Bauer shit.
“They soon began clear, that they had the wrong people and found it to be a bit of a misunderstanding. So it turns out the car infront of us, well the driver had just shot someone, and we had basically just missed it happen. The Police where responding to it and thought it was us, when in theory they got the wrong car/van. So an eventful last night in Canada.”

Your Demise/ The Eyes Of A Traitor/ This Is Colour/Brutality Will Prevail
After touring Europe with A Devil Wears Prada, supporting Misery Signals in the UK and playing with Raised Fist in Scandinavia UK Hardcore/Metal heroes YOUR DEMISE head back to headline the Santa Slaughter tour in December 2009 with support from The Eyes Of A Traitor, This Is Colour and Brutality Will Prevail.
YOUR DEMISE have been on the road since August and are now back to reclaim their crown as one of the UK’s most promising heavy new bands on home turf.
