OUTCRY COLLECTIVE CALL IT A DAY

Surrey rockers OUTCRY COLLECTIVE have just announced their amicable split.

Recently seen on tour supporting Young Guns, vocalist Steve Sitkowski, guitarist Christopher Phelps, bassist Robert Pryor and drummer Sam Burden released this official band statement this morning:

There’s nothing dramatic that we can pin this decision on, simply that the life of an underground band has become too hard to sustain and we can no longer continue.  We’re all still friends and are extremely proud of the music we made together.  We will also hope to make music together at some point in the future. But for now, thank you to all fans, friends and family who have supported our band over the years. What we have achieved and experienced would never have been possible without you. Peace, Love and Rock n Roll.”

Outcry Collective were due to play Sonisphere festival this weekend and Hevy Festival on 8th Aug and will now not be playing these shows.

OUTCRY COLLECTIVE ON TOUR!

OUTCRY COLLECTIVE head out on a 16 date co-headline tour of the UK with no nonsense punk rock n’ rollers THE COMPUTERS to show the country just why “There ain’t no party like an Outcry party” (Kerrang!) in support of their debut 2009 album ‘ARTICLES” out now on Visible Noise.

VIDEO: DEAD IN THE WATER

Hot on the heels of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Articles’, released in July 09 (“Articles is an innovative noise worth writing home about. 4/5” Q), Surrey hard rockers OUTCRY COLLECTIVE release their video to banging track ‘Dead In The Water’.

The video, directed by Sitcom Soldiers (Therapy?, In Case Of Fire), shows charismatic frontman Steve Sitkowski, guitarist Chris Phelps, bassist Rob Pryor and drummer Sam Burden in their element, doing what they do best – rocking out with huge riffs, slamming beats, trademark bluesy basslines and urgent vocals.
